- Mali Vegan Thai

Veggie and vegan restaurants in London, or with some good veggie options. I'm not including street food stands, because it's usually very easy to find something veggie in a London street food market.
The location is really cute, hidden in a small alley. I would argue that the thai dishes that are already veggie in thai cuisine are actually better than many of the ones they prepare with fake meat substitutes, but lot of things to try and discover. Their drinks are also really good.
Vietnamese restaurant in South Kensington. I would argue the veggie option (bun chai) is not the best in the restaurant, and from experience it's quite inconsistent (sometimes really good, sometimes very average). Buuuuut, some of the meat options are really good, so still a nice place to go with others. Everybody loves the grandma's beef with rice (it's only a lunch option though). Go at lunch (not on Sunday though) because it's much cheaper.
One of the best for vegan food. There are locations a bit everywhere in London. I really like the sizzling cauliflower in the mushroom sauce, as well as the sizzling tofu. The sweet and sour fake chicken is really good too. There is a meal with fake fried fish, that really feels like you are eating fish (it fucks too much with my brain, but others love it). I love the cucumber salad too.
Primarily a meat and seafood-based restaurant, but there are some very good veggie options. I really like the kimchi jeon (pancake), as well as the glass noodles with mushrooms. The kimchi bokkeumbap is also nice. If you eat meat it's really good, so nice place to visit as a group. There are many locations in London too.
I didn't try this one, but I did in other places and I'm quite eager to test it. The idea is that you are given a bowl, that you fill with anything you want (various types of noodles, various types of tofu, many types of meat, eggs, vegetables...), they weigh it to know how much you will pay, you choose a soup base, a spiciness level and they prepare it for you.
Terrible for vegetarians (there's only two dishes really), but the miso aubergine is really good and absolutely worth it.
Not tested yet, but we had to visit it. Georgian restaurant. 99% is meat, but I really want to try a few things like the cheese khinkali and the khachapuri.
I think it's my fav of all the Persian restaurants we tried. Full of Iranian people, and my Iranian friends go to it too, so I think it's a good sign. Most stews have a veggie version. I like the Fesenjan, but it's too sour for some people. Also almost all starters are veggie, we always go for Sabzi-Khordan to share plus a few others. If you eat meat, the stews are really good, but many prefer the Iranian kababs. You can ask for tahdig, even if it's not on the menu.
Very good and very cheap. The fallafel wrap is great, and so are classics like the zaatar manakeesh. They make their own bread.
A bit expensive, but we only took many starters to share and it was really good. Most starters are veggie, but the non-veggie ones (like the lamb in yoghurt) were very appreciated too.
